Postering Before the Event:
As the event nears, we will have hundreds of posters that we want to post all around the city, including schools, businesses, neighborhoods and churches. You could go out with some friends (or alone, if you prefer) and plaster the areas around your life...and you could bring a handful of event business cards with you, as well, to share with people who may ask about the event.

Display-Making Workshop
As we grow c350oregon_FB_inviteloser to the event, we will be having at least a few workshops where we gather to make banners and/or carnival games that will be used at the tables at the event. We could use your creativity and excitement on this day of production!

Day of the Event
If we have the turnout we are shooting for, there will be thousands of people milling about, eager to and curious about taking actions around stopping climate change. You could join us on the day of the event, in any number roles:

Set-up: 9-12pm (may include table/chair set up, station arrangement, posting signs/banners, directing sponsors, recycling set-up)

Crowd Management: 11:30am-3pm (will include, among other tasks, keeping particular areas clear of people so that Roller Derby attendees can get through)

Action Engineers: 11:30am-3pm (wandering the event, checking in with people about any questions/concerns they may have regarding taking actions at the event)

Information Booth: 11:30am-3pm (being at the info booth to answer any questions that people may have about the event, or directing them to someone who will know)

Clean-up/Breakdown: 3pm-4:30pm (to include, among other things, breaking down tables and chairs, picking up litter, and general dismantling of the event)

Parade Pioneer: 10-12pm (setting up and/or arriving at meeting times and locations at various spots around the city, along tri-met or bike routes, to lead a "parade of participants" to the event--including 10 of your own friends or family!)
